 We offer in-person and online degrees in game development topics such as game design, games art, animation, games audio and storytelling. Our courses are designed by industry experts and can be accessed through the member institution sites.

Prof. Dr. Peter Konhäusner

Over 25 years ago, he started his career as a serial entrepreneur in the field of digital entertainment. Bringing the first ever printed games magazine to life in Austria as a primary step, he successfully scaled his startup to one of Europe's leading full service media powerhouses, operating in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Turkey, covering topics as diverse as men's health, cooking & hospitality and reaching 65+ Mio. people per month via online, print, TV & radio.

 

Building up the company from scratch with departments such diverse as editorial, tech and sales as well as raising revenue to 7 figures, fuels his passion for creating lasting positive impact and driving change. Key drivers for success identified was a service and product diversification on pillars such as own publications, license deals and tech developments - influenced by an extensive network of industry professionals and veterans. 

 

His passion lead to becoming a mentor, business angel and startup advisor for various companies, accelerators and incubators. He was hired as an intrapreneur to build and spin-off one of Europe's largest marketplaces for virtual (gaming) items. Up to nowadays he is running his own media & marketing agency in Berlin and is actively engaged with various startups and SMEs.

 

Peter worked at Deloitte and acquired his PhD in Marketing with a focus on learnings drawn from digital platforms for the banking industry of tomorrow. He is the Vice President (Partnerships & Collaborations) at Gisma University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam, Germany.

Dr Bobbie Fletcher

Associate Dean in Games -LCCA, UK

With over 20 years of experience in Games education, she is developing a flourishing new Games Undergraduate portfolio, based on industry practices and experiencial learning at London College of Contemporary Arts.

 

Formerly as Head of Department for Games and Visual Effects at Staffordshire University, she made a significant contribution to the University’s academic portfolio and reputation as a leading digital university, which is in no small part due to the vision and the development of a vibrant Games undergraduate portfolio, which she led from inception to become a department of 2000 games students. Expanding on this success Bobbie created the first dedicated esports degree in the UK. This trailblazing degree has created a new area of study within the UK HE and FE ecosystems. She is well known within the games sector, being nominated for the MCV/DEVELOP Women in Games Awards 2022 in the category of Educational Impact.


Bobbie has also worked with governmental organisations to influence local and national policies in the advancement of games and esports and have been PI and CO-I on several successful research and innovation bids totalling £5.4 M
